We'll have to have a Flatty Cackle Fest when we're done building our rides. Are you planning on running a split exhaust manifold ? I'm running Lake style headers with SuperTrapp end caps. My '29 was originally going to be a RatRod, but the ole John Ain't Greazy syndrom has hit !

the vision in my head has 3 carburetors with a "tri-Y" style exhaust header with merge collectors. i'll have to see how much $$ i get wrapped up in the rest of the truck and how much time permits. i might just get it running with the stock manifolds/carb in the spring to start driving it...

That's good to see your son is helping you in there! ヅ

P.S. Robby has just completed the upgrade of his chopper bike using a Yamaha engine and an Indian Larry-inspired Chain Springer Fork. ヅ
You can check it out here and please do drop your comment, it's much appreciated. ヅ

John ain't Greazy... JeeZ that is funny!! I've been bitten by the flathead bug and have been keeping my eyes peeled for a v8. Not sure what to look for, which were the best, which made most power, which were most simple, which had the best aftermarket following (speed not chrome). We shall see. I think it'd be bitching to put it in my rwd 85 Toyota starlet haha.
