What A Week!

My flathead was weeping some oil out the headgasket, but I was pleased to see how nice it's burning with the tight quench. Usually these things looks like a coal factory inside. Shea has been trying to get his 650 Yamaha on the street but the carbs were more than he could tackle at 16, so I helped him clean/set them up! The weather has been extra crappy for this time of year but we still managed to get some good rides in. We had the largest group of bikes I saw on the flood run, which was really a lot of fun. I'm so glad my friends are so down to ride they don't care how shitty it is outside! Also went to see Willie Nelson lastnight which was really neat!

My buddy cancelled on the flood run, which gave me the excuse not to go. I'm a pussy.

lol @ danborn.

Pat just hand lap those heads and make sure to slide the gasket up a little.

yah the gasket was slightly bent around that center top head bolt but nothing could hit it to bend it so maybe the heat deformed it some

Dan we missed you on the FR! You better be making it down this way for a bike night soon! That pic of me is about 10 seconds before I lit off like a bottle rocket!
