This is how my '39 is setup now. The 3spd trans was worn and the gearing wasnt setup for paved roads. I stuffed a 4spd in there and set the gearing so I can run with traffic. Put a sprotor on so it skids the rear tire and juiced the engine up to 54" with some dual flatslides.
