This is how I had my '39 wldd setup years ago. I rode it like this and made changes over time. Mostly due to necessity, to be able to ride with modern traffic. It looks drastically different now. Sometimes I wish it looked simular to what it used to and someday it might. That's the beauty of motorcycles, you can always change them.

yep wide open through the neighborhood. throttle cable pinched off. lol
