330 miles @ 35 Degrees

John Endrizzi invited us to the 35th Anniversary party for the Knucklehead Company. The weather has been unseasonably warm lately, so we decided to ride there! Extended riding in this weather was really a neat experience. The challenge & risk of staying safe coupled with the sights of winter. Snow, ice, frost, sand & salt, pines, cranberry fields, ice fisherman, & the baffled stares of people in their cars. Sorry I didnt take more pictures. I was either too cold or having too much fun. Thanks again John and Jeannie for the generous hospitality!

Pat,
You and Jacob are at the top of the Intrepid Rider list for the Knucklehead Company Anniversary Party travelrama. Prior to your arrival, we have had two other long distance cold weather riders coming from distant places. Craig Olsen came from Sioux Fall, SD back in the 1980's. His distance was actually much farther. However, he split the journey by stopping over night at La Crosse. Bob Pater came from the Shawno area several years ago.He stopped to change a head gasket on his Knucklehead in a 7-11 along the way, then had one beer at the party and rode home that night. You are a very special pair of riders. Thanks for coming !
