Where is Spring?

It just will not warm up here in the frigid north. We spend all winter counting the days but I don't even know what to countdown to anymore? May? More snow in the forecast this week.

The first barge pushed its way north today through Lake City, which I am told is 3 weeks later than normal and 7 weeks behind last winter.

I have taken the Yamaha out a few times now and I remember why I missed my last SR500...this thing pulls hard. Working out a couple bugs but so far nothing major.

Got my license plate....

.....bent for free last night. Thanks assholes for also cracking my front bumper. Today I did some fixing... Pulled a self tapping screw outta my tire and plugged it. Then I unfucked my license plate. Then I crossed something off the long time list.... Can you picture what I had to cobble jockey without a welder when I was 19 and needed seats in my car... I've come a long way, but something's just don't take precedence in the thought department until you realize how easy it is to tackle. That feeling of "shit is easy" = experience.

Knocked this head out today for a buddy of mine.

This is going on a turbo engine & these really make power.

Like 7+hp per cubic inch type power.

120ci x 7 = 840hp?

 

 

 

There is still some work to do. Cut the seats & surface the head.
