Last weekend I made a quick trip to Chicago to see my old man for Fathers Day. We had one goal and it was to get his new motor running for his 72 Challenger. He had a motor built by Muscle Motors in Michigan. 505ci and it made in the neighborhood of 650hp and 725ft lbs. We had a lot of issues, and highs and lows, but working side by side with him I had a smile on my face the entire time. My old man is hooked on PBR now so we shared some beers, lots of laughs, and a hell of a good time. We drove the car on Sunday morning out of the garage, just before I had to head back. Sounded like dream and starts and idles perfect. Spend some time with your old man as much as you can, never know when they might be gone and you will have wished you did.
