Started working on my seat pan today on my day off. Stopped at a local metal supplier today and made some new friends. Steel on the cheap. Cleaned up the back of the frame where I shortened it up. Turned out, man my welding skills have a long ways to go!

Looking good. I'm working on a custom seat for my bonneville america, and always am looking for tips/advice. Keep us posted.
its coming along...I need to get some strap steel on the bottom side for support. 18 guage is a little on the thin side, but it is easy to form shape wise without using heat. I wanted to make a run at it before I do my loooooong seat on the sporty...
and I cant believe nobody made a dick comment out of my template...come on fuckers I am no David Mann but give me some credit!
