I remember my first....

Time welding. Offered up an unofficial welding lab AFTER SCHOOL to anyone who wanted to stay after. Had a freshman a sophomore a junior and a senior. Senior says,"I'm tryna learn everything I can before I graduate and go to college." The others would have never seen a live welder until maybe they poked their head into a shop. I taught them just like Al Wodtke and Pat showed me: Paying it forward. How much fun can you have with a little MIG. Wait till our TIG is wired up.

Work? HUSTLE!

Today we.... Busted ass. Bled the brakes on the starlet. Removed and serviced the entire intake/fuel system on the starlet (gaskets intake/exhaust/carb). Re-jetted and went through the carb.

I've never done any carb work on a car. It was uncanny how it ran. I wasn't staring at the same motor....

Saturday pickin

Found some neat stuff at a local antique store and a lead to an old timer who sold me a few things yesterday. It was a bit of a bust from what I was told might be there but I love looking for chopper gold and hearing the stories from anyone that has one.

Well It's Official

I rode my bikes every month for the year of 2012. And I'm not talkin' around the block type'o'shit either. Doesn't happen too often in this neck of the woods.
