At least you didn't have the top all polished up already. Look for a top that has those solid-type built in riser bushings. I just sold mine to a guy in Rochester, and tried to explain that it won't work - but, he bought it anyway. Pat might know him? You need to get that one - it's all shaved, sanded and perfect !
PAT WHO IS THIS GUY?!? I need that tree. It's the missing link. Btw NOOT the dampers that came with this setup don't seem right. I'll post a picture and ask the advice of wiser men!
