Picked up these megaphones from a place called Cone Engineering in Cali. 304 Stainless nice and light with a baffle built in. I suck at welding but they feel pretty solid. Will need to make a bracket yet to brace them. Took it out and the sound is exactly what I wanted and they sure make the bike feel quicker over the open head pipes.

Fun For All Ages

The weather has been unreal for this time of year in Minnesota, upper 70's all week. Throck and I put on about 200 miles this weekend, going all over, doing all kinds of neat stuff. He is only 5 so this is the first time I have ventured out of town with him on two wheels. He seems to like it though and does a real good job on the bike. I remember some of my first rides with my dad, probably around this age & it makes me wonder if he will remember these?

Swapped out the square shovel swingarm for a classic, round pan swingarm. Lowers the bike and adds some class to it.

Make Lemonade

When life gives you dirty carburetors, boil them in lemon juice. You can dilute it with some water, but be careful if your carb is polished, as it will dull the finish.

Made a little progress on Courtney's bike over the last couple nights. Bought all the rest of the parts I should need for it to run. Have a whole $400 into the old girl with the cost of the bike. Nice to work with the garage door open!
