Sorry to say boys and girls, but it is time to rent a truck! The mounting stud for my oil pump just snapped clean off. It was a NOS part and the baggie the guy pulled it out of said AMF. I may be serious about the AMF sighting. I need to get a file, a punch, a drill, and an easy out. Needless to say, I need to get back to NJ yesterday to get my work in order for the incoming students. No more fucking around with my toys. Summer is over and I'm happy to say this was the best summer I've had in years. Not too much bullshit, a lot of learning, not one dull moment, and most importantly time spent with family.

I'm taking off pretty soon. This is a hell of a feeling. Here's become home. I've got a pretty solid ride and a long trip ahead of me. Plenty of stopping but not as much considering we got her all tuned up on the dyno. I don't know how to express my gratitude, I've never known how. I am good at recognizing all of the hard work it has been for everyone to help me realize my dream. This last leg of it I will have to do it myself.

This past monday John Endrizzi & his teammates brought their landspeed knucklehead by the shop to run on the dyno. They just got it fired friday night & were hoping to get on top of the jetting before they headed for the salt flats this week for the Bub event. It was really a neat experience & we had a lot of fun running it on the rollers. Lee Wickstrom did the engine.. It really sounds good & there is a lot of neat stuff going on inside. Check this link out for a little more info on the bike. I'll keep you posted with their progress as I find out. Go get em guys!
