This beast has less than 59k and is black out/ red in. I have the privilege of working on this. There was a huge boost leak because of rotted couplers and an exhaust leak that needs finding. Turbos are out for a rebuild and soon it'll be cracking boost through that Wankel!!!

Dont Worry
I'm still alive. I cancelled my internet & cable. Been busy as fuck, dont have time for that shit during the summer. Dusting off my Honda drag car to run some low 11's in a week. Welded a bunch of airplane parts for my dad and I've been chipping away at Warrens flathead stuff for his handshift racer. I'd have some sweet pics for yah but my camera went thru the washing machine in my flannel shirt from the knuckle shuffle. How'd that puke get all over the sleeve? mmmmMM whiskey. See you on the road!

Shop Truck
After taking two steps forward and 3 steps back on my 59 last night I was reading some stories on AEE Choppers and found a pic of their old shop truck. By the looks of it they delivered FAST. I dont know if the times we live in suck that bad or if the 60s and 70s just ruled that much. Anyone have a Delorean I can borrow so I can go check it out for myself?

The day has come.
There will never be another day again in my life that I will have heard my Dad's 59 run again for the first time. After several long weeks in the garage trying to figure out what wasn't quite right, talking to everyone I could to get their ideas, I knew I was doing everything right. I had faith in the motor that was built and the assembly Noot and Pat did. I watched like a hawk and took the thing apart countless times in the last few weeks. Read the manual cover to cover...drank beers and stared at it. I did it all right. I cornered the issue down to an intermitent spark. Soemtimes it would spark when I would pull the plugs and test them on the heads, sometimes they wouldnt. It would have spark when I kicked it and shot fire balls from everwhere. Sometimes it didn't.
I talked to Rudy Calin and told him my issue only to hear that there have been some bad coils coming from Fairbanks-Morse as he still buys direct stock, no chinese shit. He said he has had a few come back recently. I grabbed the mag that I picked up for Pat for all his help and dropped it in tonight. Retimed it, checked twice and then checked twice more. Read the manual again. This has got to be the time, something just felt like it had to go.
Prime kick. Prime kick. A little prayer. Gas on. Choke on. Kick one. Pop. Kick two...bigger pop. Come on girl nobody around just me and you. Compression stroke and stood on it. WE HAVE LIFTOFF! If you have built a bike from the ground up that sound is both exhilerating and scary as hell at the same time. I let off the throttle and she idled down just perfectly. Blap, Blap, Blap, Blap, Blap. Looking around to hear no major noises and still nobody around to bask in the moment with. I let it idle for about a minute and 30 seconds. Shut her down. Blown away by what just happened, I had to call my old man and tell him the news, hearing him just laugh and laugh on the other end, I will probably never forget it.
Changed the plugs and fired it up again. Took her for the maiden voyage down the block and back. Let it idle for about 20 seconds after the ride and shut her down. Checked her over and all looks pretty good. Need to go over the bugs as I find them but...all in all cant say I have had too many better days, other then the day I got her back.
Thanks to everyone that has helped me out and for all the advice. Life is good.

Knuckle Shuffle 2012.
Another shitty weekend of riding motorcycles through the windy Wisconsin roads, drinking beer, burnouts, puking, ungrateful kardashian awards, Hipster burnout attempts, curb jumping, playing pool, sleeping in a 3 foot sleeping bag, taking birds to the head, and a bunch more shit that just plain sucked. Noot always a pleasure sorry we kept you up so late. A few shitty pics from the weekend.
